4000 Sales!

A milestone was reached! I made it to 4000 sales on etsy this past week!

It was agonizingly slow since the end of Dec. partially because I could not work my store and promote. It seemed to take forever, even 2 days with no sales. But I finally reached 4000 sales and to celebrate I am having a Buy One Get One Free on all Polymer Clay Rings special!
(Plus the kids and I baked cupcakes)

Yay for free stuff!

Click here to view all the rings you can choose from.
Just write which ring you would like in the message to seller section when submitting your order and I will send it along with your purchased ring.

Thank you so much to all my customers for the past 4000 sales, I am so grateful you entrusted your business to me.

Setting up Google Analytics for Your Etsy Shop

This is a great tutorial written by Connie of The Tiny Fig on how to set up your google analytics.

I was unable to do this on my own for the actual website (my own domain) and when I signed in to google analytics they had a big yellow triangle with an exclamation point for the missficklemedia.com url. Funny, I do not even remember setting this faulty piece of tracking code up.

So we will see how this goes, where customers are coming from and what are bringing them there. I will keep you updated.

An aside... I like these winking toast stickers (otherwise known as bread buddy)because they somehow convey the feeling that they know me and like me.

That says a lot for a sticker.

Hands Free Photography

I had to share this awesome, very simple, very helpful gadget my husband got me for Christmas.

It's a flexible mini tripod! It is a bit weird looking, I am always doing a double take, thinking it's one of Rex's Bionicle creations.

But it is so handy, the way it can bend and get really close to the item you are photographing.
I set the timer, set up my hands on the step I need to photograph, focus the macro setting and push the button.

I wish I would have had it for the tutorials I wrote and photographed myself, it would have saved some hassle!

Because of the deadlines set up for the book, I am not going to be able to keep up with my all my online stuff. I really need to buckle down in the next few months in order to make them.
But come March I will be back in business!

Here is a sneak peek....
