The Journey South

Let me introduce my co-pilots.
Miss.Pinky and Mr.Boo.

Our fearless leader;
Mr.Fickle
Who spent a lot of time in parking lots trying to set up various electrical things for the kids.

Water, Rock Star, GPS and my ipod helped me immensely.

This was my view for 1,200 miles.
Not exactly the back end of Mike that I like to look at.
My favorite part of the drive was going through the southern tip of the Appalachian Mountains.
Waterfalls poured through the rock the road was carved in and the sun sparkled through the bright green trees.
This is not the best picture but I had to concentrate on driving, so ... you know.

We made it!
Safe and sound without one single mishap, bump in the road or emergency!
Even the piggies had an easy ride.

We are working hard to settle in quickly, but having trouble getting emails changed, the printer set up and a missing regulator replaced for the propane torch. If you do not mind a few extra days of shipping time, I would love to offer a 10% discount through the 24th.
I have titled the coupon code;
MAMANEEDSHELVING.
Just type that phrase with no spacing into the coupon code space when submitting your order and the discount will be automatically taken off your total.

Thank you for all the well wishing and safe journeys from so many of you, I kept them all on my phone as long as my old email server would allow, they were so encouraging.
If you have sent emails and haven't heard back from me, send them again. I lost a good chunk when we switched over.

I can't wait to show you the house and the beach!

  3. Glad your mammoth move went smoothly and you were not forced to strangle the kids on the way.
    We developed 'palm-tree-itis' years ago and ended up in the sub tropics. Great climate but I do miss changing seasons.

  9. Congratulations on a long haul with kids and critters - a challenge in the best of circumstances!
    I've seen the back end of too many U-Haul's. I think the craziest time for me was coming down the steep mountain pass into Seattle and ALL the animals - 2 cats and a big brown lab, wanted to be in my lap. Thank goodness for walkie-talkies.
    Yep, I know and love those southern Appalachians, but the NE coast of FLA is calling to us ... guess we'll see. Hmmm, word verification is "sublet".

  23. YAY!!!!! So happy all went well for you guys! The kids look so happy too!
    I would love to see those beach pics, perhaps someday I can talk my family into moving by the sea. But I am thinking Maine, or some rocky northern beach, because I hate the humidity, and my hubby snowmobiles in the winter.

    Anayway, YAY!
