My Shell Talisman

I braided a lot in January.
All my favorite colors of Irish linen with little bits of pressed and molded precious metal silver.
Knotted securely onto a hammered sterling hook clasp in a choker style.
This is the one I put on;

Before I even had the money together to move to the sea!
I haven't taken it off since January.
It has showered with me every day, had perfume sprayed on it, sweated with me, survived several trips to the ocean and other various vigorous activities.
And I sleep with it on.

I am completely impressed with it's durability.
The linen has simply softened, and where the metal rubs against it, it has not even begun to show signs of wear,  the hook stays closed, the silver secure.
I forget it is on.

So this is good news for our active gals.
A personal talisman necklace that goes where ever you go and keeps up with everything you do.

New Fine Silver Collection

Honestly, they are not very new. I have had pieces of them made for awhile and just recently designed jewelry with them, then finished them.
Most importantly, I took photos. Why is it so hard to get to that point? The sun? I do not know, but yesterday as Vickie, from In My Head Studios, and I were emailing each other about the right light for photographing, I looked over and saw it... the perfect light in my kitchen! I didn't even change out of my pj's, I just grabbed my box of background papers and my box of finished goods and started snapping away.

I am still thinking of titles for them so who knows when they will actually be listed but here are a few of my personal favorites;

What to name the lastest PMC pieces?

With naming my new pieces. I'm stuck.
Eva said "medieval" and I was thinking "ancient" something or other. But I'm not sure where to go with that.
Should I upload to flickr so you can suggest names? Would you all be so kind?
These are the words that are floating around in the unoccupied space of my head;

Precious Metal Clay

I can't believe I've lost almost a whole week. That right there was a guess. I don't even know if it was a week or over a week.
But the photo above is one of 14 reasons why I feel as if I have lost time.
A new collection of jewelry is coming. I like it so much I don't want to list the pieces.
They are detailed but simple, dark but sophisticated. They are me. Right now in my life. At my level of experience, all me.
There is a bad storm coming and I must be in my happy place for that (my husbands chest)
but I miss all of your blogs and I hope to check in with everybody tomorrow.
