What's in a name?

First order of business;
I am hoarding my new pmc pieces. I am having a hard time listing them for sale.
Does anyone else have this problem with things they have made?
I never wear things like this because I use a dremel tool and crawl around on the floor with my kids all the time. So why can't I let someone else have it?

Second order of business;
Our Super Hero Pinky has been sick for the whole month of Sept. She is having trouble getting over this sinus infection and misses her Home Girls from preschool.
Any thoughts and prayers for this princess is much appreciated.

Third order of business;
I saw this on Eva's blog and thought "how fun"! Eva and Steph, I loved all of your "Names" and it was such a fun way to learn more about you!
So here is my version of the name game ~

1. YOUR ROCK STAR NAME: (first pet & current car)
Murphy Dodge

2.YOUR GANGSTA NAME: (fav ice cream flavor, favorite cookie)
Coffee Cookie

3. YOUR "FLY Girl" NAME: (first initial of first name, first three letters of your last name)

4. YOUR DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite color, favorite animal)
Turquoise Tiger

5. YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, city where you were born)

This is so clever! I love talking about myself in cute, disguised ways!
Whomever reads this should copy and paste onto a document and then erase all my answers and put in their own.
I think the kids and I will do a slightly censored version!

  2. Ha Ha my stripper name would be Coco Candy Corn!

    As for the sinus problems for Pinky girl, my son had similar issues (chronic sinus infections that couldn't be zapped by antibiotics) so we ended up having his adenoids taken out. It was an outpatient procedure and he went home that afternoon with little side effects.

    It was totally worth it!!!

  3. Oh, I do so feel for your Pinky. Kevin and I both have been sick for the past 3 weeks too. Sinus and ear infections for both of us as well as pink eye for him. Let's just say that he's been a trooper and I have not! My heart goes out to her....

  4. Wow, I am feeling very fortunate that people in our house are mostly healthy right now. Hope Pinky is feeling better.

    I have a horrible time selling my pmc pieces. I always over price them because I don't want to part from them. For me, I think it is the knowledge that they are one of a kind and I cannot make more exactly like them. And each pmc piece seems more personal than the necklaces I make from commercial supplies.

    Your pmc work is beautiful.

  5. Yes, that is exactly what I am doing, Steph!
    But to me they aren't really over priced, just waiting for their perfect owner.

  6. Yes, that is a much better way to say it - waiting for someone who loves them as much as I do.
