One of these Beads is not like the Others

One of these beads is doing his own thing.

The same type and size of raw copper beads.
Same cleaning, same sanding.
The same time in the patina mixture, the same sealant.
But one decides "No. I will not conform."

  2. a bead with a mind of it's own..funny..sounds like ceramics..you do everything the same,perhaps for years, then all of a sudden, it's different..WHY?

    I was just looking at copper beads like this and wondering about the hole size since I still have to try my enamels from Barbara Lewis!
