These ended up so pretty, I couldn't patina them!
Just torched, hammered and antiqued pieces of copper turned into findings.
And a poop load of hammered copper ear wires in a classic shape. I love these and they suit my need to always have projects on hand when I am watching t.v. or a movie. 1 and 1/2 hours later, I've got 20 pairs of sweet little earrings perfect for loss leaders!
While I think I will always enjoy antiqued sterling silver, copper is perfect for my need to work with turquoise and orange all the time, and I think it is as beautiful as gold.
Those jewelry "staples" are perfect!
ReplyDeleteAwesome - love, love, love the droplets
ReplyDeleteVery Nice! I love making ear wires in front of the tv too. These look great. Shannon C
ReplyDeleteI think I already have some of those earwires? If they're the same ones, they're wonderful! I also love working with turquoise all the time, I think the wide variety of colors and shapes is part of the magnetism! It certainly looks fantastic with Miss Fickle everything!! Thanks for jump-starting my day!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I absolutely love all of these. You crate such a beautiful shade when you antique your copper. How I wish I had limitless funds and could buy up all of your shop!! :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome "goods." Love Copper. A gob of the copper droplets would look great simply strung on beading wire. Maybe with some small red, faceted Czech glass or Swarovski crystals for a little sparkle.
