Summer is totally revved up.

A Visit from Grandma Dee.

No More Wound Dressing!

And me.
Busy picking up after everybody and trying in vain to control sand home invasion.
Riding one of the largest sales months missficklemedia has experienced since 2007.
Walking an hour each day, not eating sugar and losing over 10lbs.
Finished 3 magazine articles, proof read 1, shipped out 2 more designs, submitted 4 more.
Experienced total rejection for all 4 designs.
Finished a book project that I was worried about, 1 week early.
Designed, created and inventoried over 50 new pieces for a store.
Searching for a new 6th grade curriculum.
Read an actual book on Florida's native people.
Designed a new collection for a new account I hope to get. 
Making new friends for both Mike & I and the kids.
What I am not getting done;
My own book.
Articles for ABS.
Blog commenting.
Serious housework.

But really, over all, a very productive month.

That flowering tree in your front yard looks amazing. I'm always so knocked out by the kind of plants and trees that grow in warm places. Congrats to you on cranking out the work! And on taking good care of yourself.

  9. I haven't gotten any housework done since 2007. Refuse to start a blog, and am way behind on my book proposal as well. Congrats on the 10 lbs and mega sales--we should all be so lucky!
