Polymer Clay Rings

What? There are no more vintage, silver plated, scalloped, ring bases left?
This is the last of the rings I have created with these super sweet findings and I am not sure I will be able to make more.
It would be awesome to find out how to order some from a manufacturer, but I have no idea how to go about doing that.
One of my favorite hand bag artists, Bari J, also creates these adorable belts with rhinestone buckles. When it became harder and harder to find the vintage pieces, she submitted an order to a manufacturer and now has an endless supply of reproduction rhinestone buckles.
Don't you love the initiative?
I think I would also have enameled flowers manufactured as those are getting harder to come by now, but are still really popular.
Okay... here are the last of them, soon to be listed in my etsy shop!

  1. Beautiful, Shannon!

Where did you get the ring bases to begin with?

  2. Well you certainly went out with a bang on them! They're all so cool as is all your work.

I'm sure your pearl and brass pieces are divine. I can't wait to see them. I only did the two necklaces for now. Don't know if I'll do any earrings or not but we'll see.

Sorry I've been gone so long. I believe it might be the depression rearing its ugly head again. Been kinda hermit-like these days. It'll pass. Thanks for visiting my blog. That's something else I've been neglecting lately. Good to hear from you though!

  3. Very pretty rings Shannon! I do hope you find yourself some more.

Speaking of rings...what size do you wear? I would love to make you one of my new spinner rings....I do owe you for all the lovely things you have shared with me and I think this would be perfect. :)

  4. It is a sad day, when a supply you use for your work is no longer being made.

Several years ago, I had a similar experience with a toggle that I used. I was so upset.

My favorite one is the green ring.

    oh, btw, Tag, your it.
