While I may not be at the production level I was at up to a couple of months ago, I am able to finish orders and ship them in a timely manner once more.
I missed you, Copper.
I can't wait to show you what has come from my anguish.
I know, that sounds odd, but beautiful things can be born from darkness.
And there is nothing like a hammer in the hands of a woman scorned.
Hammer away, lady! You deserve it! Glad to see you working and smiling (and you look fantastic!) Can't wait to see the new stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! (((HUGS))) Glad to see you back with a hammer in your hand, Shannon. I can't wait to see your new work :)
ReplyDeleteYeah! Good to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, Shannon- we forward to seeing what comes out of the copper reunion - nothing like a good creative session with a hammer to make a gal feel better!
ReplyDeleteLooking beautiful! And looking forward to seeing what you have been creating. :)
ReplyDeleteWay to get back into things Shannon! I love that photo of you and the hammer :) I can't wait to see what you have been creating! Thinking of you and the kids - big hugs to all of you!!!!
ReplyDeletePounding is VERY theraputic! I can't wait to see what you create.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either! Good for you to be picking up the hammer again! What a darling photo.
ReplyDeletenothing like a hammer and torch to get you going (oh, yes, and some beautiful patina!)... the soul speaks brilliantly in joy and anguish - so glad you have this outlet...
ReplyDeleteGood! Channel all those emotions into your work and you won't believe what can come out of it! You will get through this and you'll come out an even stronger person for it! ::hugs::
ReplyDelete:-) I always make my customers laugh when they buy hammered silver items from me. I tell them there's nothing like bashing silver to get rid of tension. Some people knead bread to get the same effect, one customer confided that she "power vacuums" when she's cross (I don't think I could ever be that annoyed ...!)
ReplyDeleteReally look forward to seeing what you make, Shannon.
This is very good news, Shannon! You look great, and so in-charge! A hammer helps, of course! A girl can wham, bam, and biff away a lot of frustration! (I used to read a lot of comic books) Can't wait to see the creativity that has been born from the "new woman within"!
ReplyDeleteYou Go Girl! Take that hammer and pound out your emotions. You will create beauty out of all the pain.
ReplyDeleteHammer away sister!! <3
ReplyDeleteHammering metal is sooo theraputic! I can't wait to see what was born:) BTW- Looking hot mama! You should be a poster gal for strong independant super cute artisans everywhere!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so beautiful Miss Shan! I love your smile. And I can't wait to see what amazing things will rise from the depths.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Erin
Well put! Strike a blow for that anguish and make something beautiful out of it. Best to you and so sorry for what you're going through. I hope you can still have some semblance of a happy holiday. I feel for you.
ReplyDeleteAnd kudos to you for the tone of this post. Remember the healing properties of copper!
xoxo Kim

ReplyDeleteevery girl should have a hammer. and something to pound with it! nothing beats copper in my opinion!
can't wait to see what has sprung forth!
You look like a big (really cute) kid as much as a chick in charge. Here's to powerplaying and blasting the darkness!
ReplyDeleteYou bet ya! :-)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, beautiful things can come out of darkness. You've got the what it takes to make that happen and I am happy to hear you are back at it! Every girl should have at least one hammer and something to pound. Cheers to the light side and a few hugs too.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to be able to vent all of your frustration and angst by pound the daylights out of something, get a decent upper body workout and wind up with something outright beautiful that can make you money afterward to boot? *g*
ReplyDeleteHammering is great, isn't it? It's got me through a few things!
ReplyDelete"And there is nothing like a hammer in the hands of a woman scorned."
ReplyDeleteThis has to be one of the best blog statements I've read in a long time!
You are obviously a survivor, and, as always, an inspiration. Thanks for sharing your beautiful self.
